Description: I was told about Hawaiian guardians that all people have watching over them, they are said to be your "Amakua". Every time I paddle out to surf, I would see huge clusters of yellow tang fish schools under me. Even when I would catch a wave, kick out these fish always surround me. For a long time I thought they liked everyone, but come to my surprise that they would just follow me. When all the Uncles in the line up started to take notice, they told me it was rare to see that many around that often or just for them to follow me for an entire session. The explain to me that they are my Amakua. When I duck-dive I can just see their blurred figures, almost like they are glowing. They are with me every day and give me encouragement and inspiration in my surfing, and in my art work. Just seeing them below me makes me feel privileged enough to be guarded, it's an honor! Especially at dead low tide!

Limited Edition Giclee is printed on archival certified 430gsm Oxford 2 over 1 fabric weave matte poly-cotton canvas, and archival Canon Lucia pigmented inks that are both engineered to last at least 100 years under proper display and storage conditions.  Also features professional custom cut beveled edge stretcher bars and gallery wrap.
